How It Works
Pre-Tuning Setup:
This service is an add-on to your existing DSP tune. Your system must be fully installed, with correct speaker routing, crossovers, and gain structure already verified. Setup assistance is available if needed.
Add-On Structure:
The Riven Two-Seat Tuning Service must be purchased in addition to your applicable DSP tuning service (e.g., JL Audio VXI Rental Tune, Audison Forza Remote Tune, etc.). For example, if your system uses a JL Audio processor, you will add the JL Remote Tune with Rental to your cart and add this Riven Two-Seat Tuning Service.
Equipment Requirements & Optional Rental:
You’ll need a laptop with stable internet access and the appropriate DSP software installed. If you need assistance, Total Tuning can ship a fully configured laptop for an additional $125.
Tuning Process:
The tuning begins with your selected one-seat configuration. Once optimized, a second tuning pass is conducted to adjust delay, EQ, and phase alignment for improved passenger-side sound without compromising the reference seat. This results in a DSP preset with strong center imaging, natural tonal balance, and a widened sweet spot.
