Do not doubt this process! This is the real deal. I have a Brand sponsored Demo vehicle that we spent quite a bit of time trying to show what can be done in a small space. After the install was complete I trusted a local audio company to tune my Helix DSP. After the "tune" I started to get concerned that maybe the audio brand I was working with wasn't everything they were thought to be. After meeting with the brand and consulting with a few other people I decided to have a professional tune done. THAT was the best decision I could have made! Literally a night and day difference. If I could give Jeffrey Hald at Total Tuning USA more than 5 stars, I would. I brought him a complex dual JL Audio setup featuring dual VXi800/8i and 1000/1i amplifiers, and the work he did is nothing short of incredible. Jeffrey used the JL Audio Max measurement system alongside the TüN 4 software to dial everything in, and the results speak for themselves. The tuning is absolutely perfect. The soundstage is perfectly aligned, the clarity is mind-blowing, and the power delivery is flawless. He clearly knows these JL Audio DSPs and tuning platforms inside and out. If you want your system performing at its absolute peak, Jeffrey is the guy to see. Highly recommended!

I agree with what Dustin said. I bought all of this fancy equipment first, thought tuning might be easy.. sure I can set crossovers and knock down some peaks.. but the level of tuning that Jeffrey possesses is top notch/ second to none. He has years of experience, enjoys it, and is damn good at it.. tuning my car once is not something I want to invest years of experience to see if I can stack up and get it right. That’s why I rather pay a pro and Total Tuning USA has some pretty dang good prices considering. I’ve seen other remote tuners wanting way more money. Jeffrey did a fabulous job on my tune, sounds great! He is really good at listening to your feedback during the tune and applying changes. Thanks again Jeffrey!

Don’t let the $3500 deposit scare you. It’s a deposit and at the end of the day, it’s refunded. I have rented a Max from Total Tuning USA in the past with zero issues and it’s well worth it to have my stereo tuned by a professional like Jeff

As a repeat customer, I was a bit skeptical of the Total Image at first. I thought just a normal tune would be good enough. I’m glad I decided to go with the Total Image because it was well worth it. Jeffrey has a process that really dials in the imaging.. it was cool seeing the stage being created and by the end of my session “boom! Now we have a legit sound stage.” Amazing work by J Hald. It was great sitting with Jeff while tuning my RockyRidge F150 he is truly a master tuner with the JL Maxx Tuning hardware, It was a night and day comparison after Jeff did his thing, look if your stickler for the best and if you’ve invested in a quality install with audiophile components and you don’t want the spend hours on top of hours of hit and miss tuning your investment, do yourself a huge favor and cut out the headache let Jeff put the JL Audio Maxx to work for you either in person or through an online experience, if you to far away….I’ve installed for years and tuned my set up the old way which takes time to align a system correctly. The Maxx can help you achieve this in a matter of minutes. In my case Jeff realigned my sound, so that acoustically it sounded correct. I can’t imagine going back to the old school way of tuning more so aligning my drivers to work with each other. I used the power hungry AudioFrog drivers, GS693 Frt. Doors GS62 Rear Doors, GS42x 2 in the center including the 1.5” GS15s tweeters all powered by JL Audio’s VX 800/8 and the lower end was powered by the VX 1000/1 using two of JL Audio’s 13TW5v2 13.5” shallow mount woofers. All tucked into a custom made cabinet made by MIT for the Ford F 150’s. The lows are low let me tell you I mean low. With the massive GS15s with some crafty tuning your Able to achieve some very realistic mid/highs from these beefy and powerful tweeters, in my opinion reproduction from these tweeters are incredible some of the best out there. Jeff was able to make my sound come alive without overpowering the components with his experience of the Maxx system. Do yourself justice when it comes to your investment let Jeff make it sound acoustically bad ass.

All I have to say is that having Jeffrey remote tune your vehicle is a very wise decision and don’t forget to tip! Just shipping the JL Max costs him over $100 and the remote tunes are very reasonably priced compared to others that offer the service. Let’s do our part and drop Jeff that tip! There.. I went first! ;)

I can't say enough about how great of an experience and how well worth it the remote tuning is. Jeff is a true professional and extremely passionate about what he does. If you're like me and decided to spend a bunch of money on equipment thinking "I can figure this DSP thing out" only to find out you were wrong, just know that the investment in Jeff's services is beyond worth it. Before the tuning session I was really unhappy about the results I was getting from the equipment I had spent a good bit on. Not anymore! Thanks Jeff!

That's actually me in the top left picture there taking first place at the Kicker HQ event. Jeffrey's ability to "fine tune" my tune was incredible. I was able to take 1st at Nationals with his help. The results speak for themselves.

I took first at 2025 world and national finals for my class with Jeffrey exclusively tuning my vehicle. This was also my first year ever formally competing in any car audio competition. Not only did he make my vehicle sound amazing but he was a pleasure to work with and I was able to watch him and learn through the process.
